Best of 2016 Year in Review:

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.
— Neil Gaiman

2016 saw a lot of changes for me both personally and professionally. I travelled to Berlin and met up with some old friends from Russia and Taiwan, made a new brilliant Berliner friend Larissa Fox with whom I hope to collaborate with soon, and worked more in film and television. It was also the year I discovered my new virtual reality (VR) obsession re how it might be used as a digital storytelling tool. More on that later.

As I was putting this together I realised that I hadn't done a year in review for 2015, so I've decided to post images from both years to play catch up.

Note: This isn't a traditional "best of" portfolio type thing, it's more like a "photos I like" or "fun stuff from lighting tests, etc," type of deal. Some are actually still works in progress.

Hope you enjoy 'em,

- Kristy
